Using Venues & Spaces

Learn how to create rehearsal and performance spaces for your schedule. StageHub allows you to create Venues to organize and manage your rehearsal and performance spaces effectively. Each Venue can contain multiple Spaces (individual rooms or locations), which can then be assigned to scheduled Calls.

Managing Venues & Spaces

You can add venues and their spaces from your Organization or Production settings page. From the settings page, select the Venue & Rehearsal Spaces tab.

You can also access it from the Settings button on the toolbar from your Production's Schedule page.

Tip: You can add notes to spaces, such as directions to finding that room in your venue, ideal parking lots, etc.

Organization vs Production Venues

Organization-level Venues: These can be created and managed from your organization's settings screen, and are accessible across all your productions.

Production-level Venues: These are specific to a single production and managed separately.

Plan Restrictions

Free Plan: Productions on the Free plan cannot access or schedule Calls using organization-level Venues. They can only create and manage their own production-specific Venues and Spaces.

Paid Plans: Productions on the Starter or Pro paid plans can fully utilize both organization-level and production-level Venues and Spaces.

Upcoming Features

We're working on a resource scheduling feature to provide Stage Managers with an intuitive view of all their Venues and Spaces. This upcoming feature will allow you to easily see availability, avoid double-booking, and optimize your scheduling efforts.
