Types of Communications
StageHub offers two forms of communication. Announcements enable you to send long-form content, with rich text options including lists, formatting & attachments. Message Blasts are designed for quick messaging, like sending reminders, letting folks know about traffic etc.
Announcements
Announcements are great for longer content, like letting everyone know about COVID policies, preparing for the first rehearsal, fundraising info, etc. You can also upload attachments to an announcement.
Message Blasts
When sending a blast, your message will appear in the StageHub platform (web & app), and will also appear as a notification for anyone with the app installed on their phones or tablets.
You can also send your blast as a mass text. This is only available on certain paid plans - check the pricing page for details.
People can’t reply to texts, so it’s best to use these for one-way notifications.
Show/Rehearsal Reports
Worth mentioning! StageHub has a dedicated module for building and sending reports.
Pinning Communications
You can pin a communication, which will ensure it’s always displayed at the top of the list of communications for your production or organization. If you have multiple pinned, they’ll appear in the order they were published, newest on top.
Communication Analytics
Analytics is a paid feature.
Announcements and message blasts that are viewed within StageHub will be tracked to allow you to get insights into who is (and isn’t…) reading your posts.
The following is tracked for announcements:

You’ll have the opportunity to see individual events (such as who viewed your communication, and when they did so), as well as more aggregate statistics (% of recipients who viewed).
Analytics is only available for push notification & announcements. We’re not able to track insights on delivery or opens for text messages.
